So Far Away
The inspiration for 'So Far Away'
Sometimes human interactions are a series complicated and compounding issues that few truly understand.
At times, we are so close we could kiss, but we often build up emotional walls that freeze us in time.
Unwilling to yield, not willing to budge, we are so close but remain So Far Away.
'So Far Away' was conceived to be a very large public sculpture set standing 12’ tall, with each sculpture being carved out of stone and weighing 5 tons each. Once set in place, they would never budge any closer, each being frozen in their position, so close.....but yet So Far Away.
This sculpture has great symbolism and is presently being developed.
All Sculpture concepts begin in the mind, often ending up on paper in the form of a rough sketch.....Then it becomes reality.
