The Making of a Monument
The Making of a Monument
The highest quality of pure black granite available, 2000 pounds of stone hanging on the wall, with 3500 individual letters to be etched…..
No room for error…….
Completed 20 minutes before the official grand opening of the prestigious Gallo Center for the Arts
On August 22, 2008 the Gallo Center for the Arts, unveiled to the public a deep expression of gratitude to all who had a part in making this World Class Arts Center become a reality.
This expression of gratitude came in the form of a permanent Founders Wall that was placed in the Grand Entry Hall for all to see.
The names of the Founders were forever etched into a 1 ton wall of black granite stone that is elegantly framed in bronze.
“Absolutely Stunning, is all I can say” said Marie Gallo, for which the Center carries the family name.
